1st Barnton Scout Group Committee are the members of the Group who do not have to wear a Leader's Uniform, but are still a major part in keeping the Group running.

The Group Committee meet on the second Tuesday each month and discuss all current and future issues currently present within the Group, such as the subscription fees members pay, ways to raise funds to further improve the facilities and equipment available to our youths. The most recent event our Group Committee organised was our bagpack at J. S. Sainsburys in Northwich, helping to raise over £1000 to contribute to replacing the windows in the Scout Hall. Our Committee also provides our annual plant sales service - one of our key fundraisers of the year!

As a member of the Group Committee you will be able to make a difference for the better for our young members, without having the committment of attending weekly section meetings, and instead only having a once monthly commitment to the Group.
