About 1st Barnton Scout Group

1st Barnton Scout Group is part of the Cheshire Scounting County, and is a member of the Mid-Cheshire District. We are located on the corner of Church Road in Barnton (opposite Hill Top Close (Click HERE for directions)) in a 150 year old School building, which is currently undergoing a rejuvenation project to make the hall much more modern, and more suited to its use for today's Scouting members.

We currently operate three different sections of the Scout Movement which, as the Home page shows, are a Beaver Scout Colony, a Cub Scout Pack, and a Scout Troop, and have a total membership of in excess of 50 youths and leaders (Meet our Leaders & Committee Members here!). However, as part of our rejuvenation project we plan to increase these numbers, of both leaders and youths, as well as bringing Scouting in Barnton back into the Public eye.

We hope that your son or daughter chooses to join our Group, and that we can help to make a difference in the lives of those children, and youths in the village who are looking for a fun and worthwhile hobby, in which they can learn and develop new and key skills to help both out on a field, and in the workplace. So if you have any enquiries, please don't hesitate to contact us, via the enquiries link in the menu on the left side.

We look forward to hearing from you!
